2015 Northen Europe

Summers are so short in Northern Europe that both locals and tourists want to enjoy while they last. Good news is that days are long - even 24 hours if you go above Arctic Circle. In Tromso Norway, for example, their outdoor botanical garden is open 24 hours during summer. People draw curtains when they want to sleep, but walking around at midnight as though it is just evening is an experience in itself. If you can find those rare clear weather days, you can truly enjoy this region.

- Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, consists of two distinct parts. One part of the city perches on high ground immediately above the coastline, while the older part is located around the port area. The high part of the city is dominated by the Toompea Fort built in 1219 by the Danish King. The town hall square is home to the oldest Gothic town hall in the Baltic Region.
- Great city to walk around on your own.
